The above should have read “on a Saturday.” The stat is correct for Saturday, I just typed the wrong day of the week.
This has only happened once, on November 15, 1975, a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Coincidentally, the Red Wings’ previous game that year was on November 13 and was a 6-3 win, both of which also happened this season.
