Gustav Nyquist!

That’s right, Thursday’s matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes will be the season debut of Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist, called up from the Grand Rapids Griffins with the salary cap space created by Danny DeKeyser going on LTIR. Nyquist will start on the second line with Henrik Zetterberg and Johan Franzen.

The only other lineup change is the absence of DeKeyser, as the Red Wings had skated with eleven forwards and seven defensemen against the Predators on Tuesday.

Jimmy Howard gets the start in goal again.

Game time is 7:30 PM on FSD.
