  • Hasek gets another start as the Wings try to work him back into shape. There don’t appear to be any lineup changes for tonight, no more injured Wings back just yet.

  • For those of you who may not know, the game is being broadcast on FSN-Detroit. I haven’t been able to find it on NBC.

I also understand you can view the game on Yahoo as a stream. I’m not sure how to view that. If anyone knows, let me know. Thanks.

    Hasek starts tonight.

  • Well, that was quick.

    Ugh.

    Clark Rasmussen March 2, 2008 11:12 AM
  • Wings don’t appear to have much energy.

And HASEK’s performance so far is marginal at best.

RYAN MILLER, Sabers goalie makes a save on a shot he didn’t see. Why not HASEK?

    Terrible.

I just tried the Yahoo sports Live feed and apparently its restricted in my area.

  • And Maltby evens things up. Yeah, Maltby.

He’s not as fast as Robert Lang used to be but if you complain enough, he’ll do something about it.

    Clark Rasmussen March 2, 2008 11:33 AM
  • Maltby’s first mark in 36 games.

Yeah, keep complaining because its seems to be working in his case.

I started complaining about LANGs lackluster play last year and every time I did, its seemed like he would score a goal or assist on one.

Yeah, keep complaining because its seems to be working in his case.

    skyguy52 March 2, 2008 11:37 AM
  • And just when I give Maltby a rare ovation and Kudo, they give the goal to Drake.

    skyguy52 March 2, 2008 11:42 AM
  • Dom shoulda been called for a trip.

    Clark Rasmussen March 2, 2008 11:43 AM
  • I’m trying hard not to bash the refs, but that’s two goals in the last two games where play should have been blown dead.

  • Sopcast free, but it’s horrible…it’s a user uploading video from their TV. Although the picture is small on Yahoo, the quality is excellent.

OK thanks on the sopcast info. Can’t you resize the Yahoo cast to full screen?

Haha. I thought I was computer illiterate — technology challenged.

  • I’m really impressed with Filppula’s skating ability. He came back with Zeta to make that least play a near goal.

    skyguy52 March 3, 2008 1:11 AM
  • Maltby unloads to get one he’ll get to keep.

    Clark Rasmussen March 3, 2008 1:22 AM
  • Haha. Maltby Finally! 36 games without a goal ends tonight.

    skyguy52 March 3, 2008 1:22 AM
  • Smart, smart pass by Hudler, Dr. Fil makes it all good.

    Clark Rasmussen March 3, 2008 12:09 PM
  • Great Heads up feed from Hudler to Filps.

    They (we) needed that one.

    skyguy52 March 3, 2008 12:10 PM
  • Holy sh*t! Lilja just saved a goal!

    Clark Rasmussen March 3, 2008 12:20 PM
  • Lilja redeems himself.

    skyguy52 March 3, 2008 12:24 PM
  • More really smart passing leading to Franzen’s goal. I miss seeing the team like this.

    Clark Rasmussen March 3, 2008 12:27 PM
  • Thanks for the link…I had to change to a proxy IP, but now I can start watching the games they show (of course only when the Habs aren’t playing). Quality is actually pretty good.

Yes, for what I understand the stream is very good quality. And its FREE (excluding the fact that you need high speed internet and there’s usually a charge along with your cable).

There’s also something called sopcast (an internet feed) that broadcasts live games. I’m not sure that is free or not.

Agreed. It would be nice to see the WINGS climb out of their slump BEFORE the injured players start coming back (Rafalski, Lidstrom, Chelios and Cleary). In doing so, It would show they have it together even without their injured stars.
