We’re two minutes in and this game is already insane. Ridiculously fast pace.

Midway thru OT1 and ANAHEIM appears to be controlling the play. Could WINGS be fatiqued? Not much in the way of offence by the WINGS for the past several minutes.

For the record, NHL rule 78.5 deals with disallowed goals. Part IX of the rule says a goal shall be disallowed
So did they just ignore that rule or did they decide Hasek wasn’t making a save?
I swear that last season they gave officials the latitude to only call that when they thought it was put in on purpose or something like that, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it not called. In fact, the opposite, some cases where it was clearly accidental have been called.
Damnit! I was just starting to think the Wings might survive the first period.
