After a loss to Buffalo in the shootout the Flames are going to be hungry coming into this one, the good news is the shutout in St. Louis should have been a wake up call to the offense. Let’s light up Kiprusoff!
And the Freep reports Hasek is out with an inflamed wrist. With Osgood not yet ready to return, Howard has been called up to back up MacDonald. Anyone else say Howard should get the start? MacDonald hasn’t played poorly, he just can’t find a way to win.

I was shocked that the Flames didn’t start hitting everything that moved at the end of the period. They’ll probably come out that way in the second.
