The Red Wings visit the Wild for the first game of a home-and-home series, still looking to snap their losing skid.
Jimmy Howard gets the start for the second night in a row and Cory Emmerton is back in the lineup for Patrick Eaves.
Fabian Brunnstrom (who was waived earlier today) and Mike Commodore are the other healthy scratches.
Game time is 8:00 with FSD carrying the TV.
I expect to miss this one as we’re hosting a Halloween party tonight. Oddly, the two games at Minnesota are the only ones I’ve missed this season.
I just want a solid performance and a win to go with it. Is that too much to ask?
That was a great save by Harding. But whoever shot that should have put it higher.
“The following silence is brought to you by Mickey Redmond” I think that sums everything up pretty well.
Agreed. I don’t have much on this one other than I’m glad I brought a pillow.
A lot of loose sticks tonight.
And we get shutout for the fourth loss in a row…
It’s time to break out the superstitions or sacrifice something to get the Wings to win again. I mean the Leafs are second in the league right now, something is obviously not right
Caught a decent amount of this one out of the corner of my eye with no sound. The numbers look better than the game did. Lots of Detroit shots but not a lot of real chances. Not going to end a losing streak without getting rebound chances.
It’s still shocking to see goals get called back against other teams.
About time we get a break! Especially after what was called back last night. We are playing tired and we look like we have zero gas in the tank. Too many odd man rushes…
