We’ve got lineup fun in tonight’s matchup with Columbus.
Osgood gets the start, Hasek wasn’t ready on Sunday and isn’t ready now so Dom is the backup.
Downey is back in and Helm, who was briefly sent back to GR, is also in. Draper, Holmstrom, and McCarty still aren’t ready.
Defensive pairings are Lidstrom-Rafalski, Kronwall-Stuart, and Chelios-Lebda. Lilja will sit and will be the only defenseman sitting.
For those of you doing the math, that does mean that Meech will be in. But why isn’t he listed in the defensive pairings? He’ll be playing up front.
No idea who the extra guy out is, since Downey and Helm should make for 12 forwards.
Meech playing as a forward you say? Sounds interesting to me. This should be a pretty good game, although i’m not a big fan of divisional games outside of Chicago. The other teams simply don’t excite me as much.

Weird officiating already, I don’t like the interference call on Downey but then they go and miss the too many men call on Detroit.
I agree with your opinion on the officiating.
