After two… Wings picked it up a bit in the second. Playing more disciplined (even with the weak Draper penalty to end the period) and finding the net.
Wow. Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Holmstrom just combined to beat just about ever King on the ice, some more than once.
Ken and Larry are talking about Osgood in the postgame right now. One thing they didn’t mention is that Osgood is once again playing extremely well positionally. He’s not getting caught on the wrong side of the net. The times he’s been beat have been on just really good shots.
I’ve been running around kinda crazy today so I didn’t get the chance to start a game thread until just now. Still tied at zero after a period. Osgood had to be sharp against the Kings power play.
Samuelsson’s out with a groin injury, Downey is in making his Red Wings debut.
