  • It’s a late game but the Wings aren’t playing like they’re sleepy, Datsyuk gets the 5-on-3 goal to open scoring.

  • Dom should have had the Smolinski goal.

Looked like he had the stick down late and the puck just went wide. Smolinski been around a while, he knows whow to score. What gets me is the tempo shift from the Canucks in a matter of one shift. What a momentum driven team.

Good tempo going in this game so far. Calder gets the 10 minute for speaking his mind. I wish I could read lips sometimes. I know he called the ref an asshole. :) Love it!

    Go Wings.

  • Yeah, I’d love to know what Calder said to p*ss the ref off so quick. It looked to me like he was talking about his luck or something like that. :)

Aside from the goal, Dom’s been *on*. Made some real solid stops.

  • “And Dominik Hasek got caught wandering”

Yeah, Ken, he f*cking did. Goddamnit.

  • The only thing the Wings are getting tonight from this contest is a lesson in board work. Vancouver is one hell of a good board team. Dom continues to take a walk in the road when its not clear. Sometimes you wonder what the f*ck he wants.

BUT, he has made 2 great saves recently, although… STAY IN THE NET!!!

    Go Wings.

  • The Wings are gonna need another one of their big third-period comebacks. That shorthanded goal was killer.

Absolutely, we are starting to look really slow. Canucks have found the tempo band that keeps Detroit on the Defensive play. Hope you are right about the 3rd.

    Go Wings.

  • So much for the comeback. Damn.

  • Awful performance by the Wings. No sustained offense. Poor fore checking in offensive zone. Canucks defense looked much stronger than the Wings. Wings tonight looked alot like the team eliminated by the Oilers last year. Awful! :)
