Okay, okay, so my promised update was a day late, it happens. Absolutely nothing is happening with the Wings follwing the tie with Toronto on Saturday, but some stuff has gone on in the league in the past few days.

Former Red Wing Ulf Samuelsson retired on Monday after he failed to be picked up by an NHL team this season. The infamous Marty McSorley signed with the IHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins and was ejected in his first game. McSorley was one of eight players kicked out after a third period melee. Oh yeah, and the Blues picked up Scott Mellanby from the Panthers.
