Pregame: Red Wings @ Maple Leafs – 9/28

The Red Wings close out their exhibition schedule tonight in Toronto where a mostly-AHL lineup will face the Maple Leafs.

Both teams iced close to their expected NHL rosters in Detroit last night and the Wings called up eight players from the Grand Rapids Griffins earlier today to skate tonight. The chain reaction means that many expected Griffins won’t be in Grand Rapids’ lineup in Plymouth tonight as they play the Lake Erie Monsters in a preseason matchup, which is where I’ll be.

Game time for both games is 7:00 PM. The Wings will be on NHL Network in the US and CBC in Canada.
