  1. Tonight is the second of the two games I’ll be missing on my Las Vegas trip and since I’ve been running around all day using other people’s money to kick ass at video poker I don’t have any in-depth pregame notes.

Pavel Datsyuk remains out with an upper body injury. Patrick Eaves will be a healthy scratch. The fourth line will be made up of Brad May, Justin Abdelkader and Darren Helm. Mike Babcock says whoever is doing better on faceoffs will play center. Abdelkader says that’s Helm.

    That’s all I’ve got.

  2. I have a love/hate relationship with going to overtime.

Right now I wish the game wasn’t going into overtime.

  3. Williams is the first shooter and scores.

So did the dude from the Avs whose name I can’t be bothered to look up

    Zetterberg does not score.

Wings have to score on this one.

And Leino doesn’t make it. Oh well, I guess.

  4. There goes the record at the Joe. Osgood got faked out of his pads both times, while Anderson didn’t. It was in the f*cking bag at 2-0. But at least there’s the consolation point.

  5. WTF is all I have to say! We lookedgood until the third when the defense and Ozzie went to sleep.

  6. So far the Wings have been playing alright. Nice to see they have kept the Avs scoreless for two! (knock on wood?)

    I really liked the fight!
