Red Wings Sign Cleary to Extension

It was announced during Red Wings Live pregame that the Red Wings have signed Dan Cleary to a five-year contract extension. The deal is worth $14 million for a cap hit of $2.8 million per season.

Cleary is currently injured but expects to be back with six games remaining in the season.
