  • Kronball with a dopey clear up the middle.

I really think he needs a new nickname x]

    But yeah, I agree.

How about if we agree to limit using this nickname (KRONBALL, KRONBALLS) to only when he exhibits dopey play (like the one he just made resulting in a Phoenix goal — clearing up the pass to a Coyote)?

Otherwise, we can use another appropriate nickname. Yet to be determined.

    Sound reasonable?

    Aye :D

I’m kind of bored with this game already. We need excitement. x] LET’S GO PVD!

  • Observation: The WINGS are a little off tonight in their execution.

    Miscues, lapses.

  • Nicely said, very,very nicely.

Haha. Yes. I was getting very ornery lately, and I couldn’t figure out what was causing my poor attitude. Well, I finally figured it out! —— Red Wing hockey withdrawal syndrome.

I think it has become a certifiable illness.

I was like that during the summer :D I had just recently learned all of ‘Hey! Hey! Hockeytown!’ and my friends weren’t too pleased to hear me sing it every few minutes x]. [It’s an addicter, I tell you!]

Oh, I go through that myself in the summer. I find that my only relief is hauling out old video, DVDs, of games. Which reminds me, I should start thinking of recording some games now or I’ll be like the squirrel trying to find the nuts he buried, but can’t find any.

  • Caught up off the DVR… Yeah, the Wings seem a bit off. I’m not worried yet.

And I’ll be merging the other thread into this one.

  • All I have to say is ….. Angie Mentek … the Fox Sports Net commentator …. now on the air with post game commentary ………. is A FOX!

Gosh oh geez, what a pretty lady.

Will she go out with me?

Last time you’ll ever see her (unless you watch a lot of Seattle sports), with FSN Detroit switching to an arena-based postgame show hosted by Mickey York.

    Clark Rasmussen January 31, 2008 1:24 AM
  • The Wings look flat but nothing should be taken from the Coyotes, they’re really jumping.

    Clark Rasmussen January 31, 2008 1:36 AM
  • Good save by Osgood.

Those were cool clips of ‘Mr. Hockey’ & ‘The Great One’. Wow. To think I wasn’t even existing yet XD

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 January 31, 2008 1:36 AM
  • Wings gotta get going soon or they’re screwed.

How did Zetterberg miss the open net?!

    Clark Rasmussen January 31, 2008 1:43 AM
  • Observation: Phoenix definitely the better play 2nite. Must be the smelling salts the Great One is using behind the bench.

  • Homer! … With his head down, being double teamed.

    Great!

    skyguy52 January 31, 2008 2:37 AM
  • The Wings bounce back from a great shift by Phoenix to get things knotted up. Huge.

    Clark Rasmussen January 31, 2008 2:38 AM
  • Continues to amaze me … Pav’s Take-away abilities.

PAV is the KING of TAKE-AWAYS!

Just wish he could convert more of them to turning the Red Light on.

    skyguy52 January 31, 2008 2:42 AM
  • How far inside Bryzgalov’s head is Holmstrom? This is great. I hope the Wings play Phoenix in the playoffs.

    Clark Rasmussen January 31, 2008 2:45 AM
  • Thatta Way … LID-STORM

    Bout time.

    skyguy52 January 31, 2008 2:45 AM

Indeed the Mule is in Bryzgalov’s head …. That’s what he’s getting the BIG BUCKS for ..

    Nice to see.

  • Great ONE’s use of smelling salts behind the bench … actually worked in reverse to ignite the Red Wings.

    Thanks WAYNE!

    skyguy52 January 31, 2008 2:52 AM
  • And Ozzie bitchsmacks Shane Doan!

    Clark Rasmussen January 31, 2008 2:56 AM
  • oh gosh… Thanks for the smelling salts!

    Ozzie came up big.

My heart stopped …. I figured Ozzie would fold.

    Much to my amazement.

    He Didn’t

    My faith is renewed.

    skyguy52 January 31, 2008 2:57 AM
  • Ozzie .. .with the $25,000 save in the closing MINUTE.

Well worth the price of admission!

    Congrats to the WINGS!

You are just way too quotable. :D

Yay. Happy they won. At least they worked harder in the third. Poor Kronny ):

  • Henrik Zetterberg is back in the lineup and Brett Lebda is out with a wrist injury. With Dallas Drake also returning, this puts Downey and Ellis out. Derek Meech is in for Lebda. Chris Osgood gets the start.

  • Must say, I have been suffering from Red Wing hockey withdrawals. Thank goodness I’ll get relief tonight.

Oopps … I just logged on and noticed no thread yet on tonights game. So I originated one to find Clark had already done so.

Sorry Clark if I messed things up …. Since we now have two threads going on tonights’ game, go ahead and delete my entry/thread if you like.
