  1. Sadly I’ll be missing this game, also (taping it definitely!) I may take a peek at the score every now and then though.

Who’s staying up for the game? (Excluding you Westerners, curses! B) [haha, do know I’m kidding])

Predictions on scoring? I hope Dr. Fil and Christian Ehrhoff score, and always the marvelous PVD. :o

(Someone want to add some game notes? :) )

  2. I’m staying up. Or at least that’s the plan right now.

Surprise out of practice is that Hasek gets the start. Osgood was supposed to go based on the rotation but Babcock switched it up. He sees Osgood going in the next game with Hasek starting the last one before the All-Star Break and Osgood going again after the break. Personall, since Ozzie is starting the All-Star Game and Hasek is back in form, I’d have Hasek start the first game back, as well, and count the ASG as Osgood’s start.

  3. Clark, have you heard anything about Ken Holland picking up Hossa from Atlanta? I read a couple of the rumor posts over at specktorshockey.net and most people are saying to trade Hudler and Kronner for him which I think is a bad idea. Just wondering if you have heard anything through your channels

After Hossa tore up the Wings, the rumors went nuts. I don’t think he’s coming here, the Thrashers are still in the playoff race. That would be a stupid deal anyway.

Blind backhand cross-ice pass from Datsyuk to Zetterberg. Any more prefixes I could put on that? Wow.

  5. Would like to see KRONBALL rewarded with his shot from the point finding the back of the net.

  6. PAVS continues to Amaze me with his over-all abilities ….

    He’s a threat going both ways ….

    WOW!

  7. Quick goals. I wonder what Dom was complaining about.

Weird hearing Ozo’s name since he practically disappeared.

  8. It really p*sses me off when Dom stands there an looks like a complete jackass. He has that “What it’s not my fault ” look

DOMN just has his SENIOR moments now again …..

    Someday you’ll understand … B)

  10. And it doesn’t f*cking matter! Suck it, bitches! Way to go Nick!

Yeah what he said as Nick makes the blast from the point

  11. Dom dove but it was also a slash. Should have called both, as much as I hate when they do that.

  12. Crisp WING passing has to be driving the SHARKS crazy.

    Especially their Goalie — Nabarro??

  13. Spent the a better part of the last quarter of the period on a five on three. Good thing Dom was still awake on that last shot

  14. Very important that the Wings capitalized so much there. Gotta have strong defense and not let the Sharks back in.

  15. Spent the a better part of the last quarter of the period on a five on three. Good thing Dom was still awake on that last shot

DOMN is subject to lapses in judgment, mind wanderings …

  16. Great Rush by the WINGS led by FRANZEN who makes a world class play putting it on the net.

  17. Nice outlet pass to ZED then to CLEARY who finishes!!

Some world class stuff going on here at the TANK.

  18. I think DOMN enjoys looking at the rafters ….. seems to be on his back an inordinate amount of time.

  19. Cheechoo had the tying goal early. The Wings do a pretty good job of shutting down the other two, though.

Weird, messy game all around but the Wings held on and played strong, good to see.

  20. I’ll have to do NHL radio tonight since I am at work. Agree with the call on who is getting the start. Once Dom is hot he usually stays that way for a few games. Will be looking forward to seeing Ozzie in the next game, and if all goes well Zata and PVD will start to pick up their scoring.
