  • The Wings wrap up their week with their second game in as many nights. Hasek gets the start and that should be the only lineup change. Detroit can take the lead in the Western Conference with a point tonight.

  • Scary to see Kronwall go down early. First time through I thought he just got the wind knocked out of him but coming off the ice it definitely looked like he was hurt, not moving his legs at all.

  • Bertuzzi gets his first as a Wing on a lucky bounce! Wings are on the board early.

  • Well that was a CF of a period. At least the Wings have held on for the point they needed to take over first place. Lets see if they can pick up the second point.

  • Well, they really turned it up in OT but couldn’t get the goal. We go to the shootout.

Would have been nice to get that energy in the third.

  • Wasted point. Way to go. The Stars better ride that momentum to a win tomorrow.

I didn’t see the game. What was the MELTDOWN in the 3rd all about? :woot:

  • The Wings are doing a great job of not playing tired, considering they were on the road last night and are short a defenseman. Strong defensively, Hasek is on his game, even Draper’s on with his breakaway goal. Draper never finishes on breakaways!

I could see things getting chippy pretty quick. The Stars will want to get momentum for going into Nashville tomorrow (and I’d love for them to be ornery for that game).
