  1. After a loss to Buffalo in the shootout the Flames are going to be hungry coming into this one, the good news is the shutout in St. Louis should have been a wake up call to the offense. Let’s light up Kiprusoff! :(

  2. And the Freep reports Hasek is out with an inflamed wrist. With Osgood not yet ready to return, Howard has been called up to back up MacDonald. Anyone else say Howard should get the start? MacDonald hasn’t played poorly, he just can’t find a way to win.

Meanwhile, on the Calgary side of things, newly-acquired defenseman Brad Stuart will join the team in time for the game.

The Preds lost to LA last night, Wings can pull back within a point with the win.

  3. A new streak starts with Zetterberg’s goal. Awful gaffe by Kiprusoff and where were his teammates for support?

  4. Let’s not start giving up garbage goals!

Here we go :( watch the garbage guys! Get your heads out of your as#es! The game is not over yet!

WTF!!!!! :( :cursing: Babcock will you please slap somebody!

  5. Classic example of the Wings getting too comfortable with a lead and becoming lazy. Glad Franzen closed it out for them! We are back in second place and one point away from the lead!

  6. I was shocked that the Flames didn’t start hitting everything that moved at the end of the period. They’ll probably come out that way in the second.

  7. Nice move by Datsyuk

:( Willy! and Nick 38 seconds later! We are owning the Flames and here comes the bad hitting

  8. This goes back to my point about needing a tough guy, if we still had Shanny or Mac that would not have happend to Z. Nice to see Lilja act like a big man for once
