Detroit beat the host Tampa Bay Lightning, 6-3, in a game that started at 2:05 PM Eastern on Monday, January 17, 1994 (and was played at Target Center in Minneapolis as part of the NHL’s short-lived neutral site game program) coming off of a game in Boston. After a game in Chicago, the Red Wings beat the New York Islanders in a 3:00 PM game at Nassau Coliseum on Monday, February 21, 2000. On Monday, February 19, 2024, the Red Wings beat the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena in a game that started at 3:30 PM Eastern / 12:30 PM Pacific when coming off a game in Calgary.
