I was going to post some actual postgame notes but I decided video is better.
Take a look at the Red Wings’ fourth goal. That pretty much sums up the entire game right there.
Tonight, everything the Wings did worked and nothing the Wild did made a difference. Absolute dominance by Detroit, either by skill or by luck (a combination of the two, as would be expected).
On the downside, the loss of Todd Bertuzzi is worrisome. We’ll have to wait and see whether he can go against Chicago on Sunday.
