  • I was about to start the thread myself. Been working, otherwise it would have been earlier.

    Dom gets the start tonight.

  • That was stellar, even though Pavel fell, he kept the puck as he slid and passed it to Rafalski  I wish I had awesome skills like that.

  • That was an insane stop. Good thing Lilja (was it him?) was there! Whoever that mystery defenseman was.

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 1:18 AM
  • Shooting gallery for a bit there before the Franzen goal. Nice.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 1:23 AM
  • Awesome! The Mule so deserved that one. I give credit to Backstrom on the first save, though.

  • Tie game as the Wild gets a powerplay goal from a WEAK call on Meech.

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 1:28 AM
  • Lame penalty leads to a power play goal for Minnesota. Convenient.

And catmandu says Hasek went down too early.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 1:30 AM
  • Anyone else having technical issues with FSND? D:

edit;; Looks like nothing happened the last two minutes of the game?

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 1:35 AM
  • Glad to see I’m not the only one with problems. Thought the freezing rain might be screwing with my cable or something. Even though that’s not supposed to happen.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 1:55 AM
  • Big stop by Dom! And another!

x] Nope. And it’s not raining here right now.

Does anyone know why Zetterburg got a penalty?

    (Awesome saves by Hasek)

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 2:02 AM
  • And they score. ): That one was odd. Who gave it away?

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 2:05 AM
  • With all the weak calls tonight, why wasn’t that trip called?

That said, nice shot by Demitra. Damn.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 2:06 AM
  • Just like Mickey Redmond said ‘was a pretty good elbow’ x]

Eww, sick, stop closing up on his face, I don’t want to watch the bloody towel. Unless it gives the Wild another penalty, then go ahead.

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 2:14 AM
  • Weak-ass power play.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 2:17 AM
  • Weak-ass power play.

    I’d say so D:

They could stop beating up on the Wings too, but that’s a little too much to ask for. (a goal or two isn’t, though)

Three Wild players on Holmstrom and yet it’s a Minnesota player and Datsyuk who go to the box.

Some day, Homer’s gonna get suspended for going apesh*t in the crease. After getting knocked down for the fifth time in a shift, he’s gonna go Brashear on some people.

XD LMAO. I pray that I am watching that game x] Hahaha. And if it doesn’t you can always do the alternate history thing. XD

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 2:24 AM
  • I’d like to thank the goalpost for saving Dom today

    We got lucky.

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 2:28 AM
  • Mickey hates this game. What fun.

And Homer isn’t actually crazy enough to go Brashear on anyone.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 2:33 AM
  • And Homer isn’t actually crazy enough to go Brashear on anyone.

    We can still dream?

At least they will only have a 3 second power play at the beginning of the third period.

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 2:35 AM
  • Kudos to Samuelsson for a good try to drive it home. ;D

(I love how Hasek throws his hands up during icings and other various calls x])

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 3:02 AM
  • Dan Cleary!

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 3:22 AM
  • THANK YOU DAN CLEARY!!!!!!!

Too bad they’re not in Detroit, now we can’t hear his theme song.

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 3:22 AM
  • Brett Lebda!

Where the hell did he come from on that one?!

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 3:28 AM
  • Brett Lebda. Thank you.

I am surprised we won it so quickly. Oh well, WOO!

That was a good play :D

    Mathieu_Datsyuk132351 February 6, 2008 3:29 AM
  • Before the game tonight I had a bad feeling but I didn’t want to say anything. I’m glad I didn’t now, it would have been wrong.

    Clark Rasmussen February 6, 2008 3:34 AM
  • Noteworthy that the WINGS have been finding ways to come back late in games to overcome deficits, score, and WIN. This is a good sign at this point in the regular season. I don’t recall previous teams having the ability to do this on a consistent basis.

Many role players stepping up at crucial times with big goals, big plays.

    Awesome!

    skyguy52 February 6, 2008 11:41 AM
  • Does no one care we have a game tonight? D: Only a few minutes until the opening face-off and no one posted a topic.

I have no game notes (as always)

    Let’s get a W!
