  • Wow, the Wings absolutely dominated the play for about 5 minutes in the middle of the first period. They really needed to get a goal there, can’t afford to have so many chances that don’t go in against Colorado.

On a side note, good to see that Zetterberg did take the morning skate.

  • Damn, Aebischer looked good on the first Detroit power play. Until the goal, of course.

That’s what I love about this Detroit team, if you stop them on the pretty chances, they’ll get you with the ugly ones.

  • That penalty to Maltby was crap, MacLean put his head down, it’s his own damn fault. Big kill on the 5-on-3, though.

  • This is the one time that we are missing somebody like Hatcher so he could flaten Blake.

    SYfanSD January 21, 2006 8:42 AM
  • Don’t need to flatten anyone as long as you’re getting goals. :D

  • It’s just Blake…. Can’t stand him :D

  • Another crap penalty for a 5-on-3. Liles totally took a couple more strides before falling down.

  • Wings just shut it all down in the third period. Avs get a 5-on-3 and a power play in the final minutes and can’t do a damn thing with it, damned good to see.
