I complained about it last night when it happened to Chelios and I’ll complain that it happened to Weight: The refs shouldn’t be handing out penalties to players just for complaining about a call.
The hooking call to Weight in the second period sucked and he had a right to complain. The two extra for complaining were stupid, the refs overreacted.
I won’t complain about a Wings power play but I agree with Weight here.
