Select the start and end dates which your search should apply to. If you wish to apply your search to all games played, simply leave the fields blank.
Select the franchises which you wish to include in your search results. If no franchises or teams are selected, all teams will be included in your search.
Select the individual teams which you wish to include in your search results. If you have already selected the franchise to which a team belongs, you do not need to select the individual team. If no franchises or teams are selected, all teams will be included in your search.
Restrict your search to games at home, on the road, or at neutral sites. Because all neutral site games have an assigned home and away team, you have the option of including or excluding neutral site games from your search of home or road games.
Restrict your search to games where Detroit, the opponent, the total number of goals, the margin of vistor/loss match the numbers you're looking for, the game's outcome and whether the game ended in regulation or overtime. You may leave any of these fields blank. If you wish to find games where, for example, five or more goals were scored, you can enter "5+" in the proper box. Similarly, "5-" will find games with five or fewer goals.
Pick whether your search will cover regular season games, playoffs games, or both. If you choose to include playoff games, you can search for games where either Detroit or their opponent had a specific number of wins in the series. Like with the goals fields in the previous step, if you wish to find games where, one team had two or more wins in the series, you can enter "2+" in the proper box. "2-" will find games where that team had two or fewer wins. If you have included the playoffs in your search and wish to limit your search to specific rounds of the playoffs, you may select which rounds to include. If no rounds are selected, all playoff rounds will be searched.
Select which optional fields you would like to see data for, when available.
